Ronald G. Wittlief, 66, of Marengo passed away September 30, 2015 in his home. Born April 14, 1949 in Belvidere; he was the son of George and Verna (Hinz) Wittlief.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Ronald was a life-time resident of Marengo. He attended Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Marengo Community High School.
Survivors include his brother, Rich (Jean) Wittlief; two nieces; one nephew; and three grand-nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and a nephew.
Visitation 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, October 5th, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo. Memorial service 11 a.m. at the funeral home; Pastor Glen Borhart officiating. Online condolences may be submitted at Marengo-unionfuneralhom.com
