Ruth Edna McLellan Burns passed away in St. David, Arizona on October 5, 2015. She was born on August 13, 1924 to James Charles McLellan and Maria Guadalupe Martin del Campo in El Paso, Texas. She was married to George Abel Burns Jr. on May 8, 1946 in Tucson, Arizona where they lived for more than 70 years. Widowed in 2000, she is survived by her brothers James McLellan(Irene) and Stephen Leavell(Judy), sister Jean Rogers(Bob), two of her four children, George(Judy) and Kathryn(Doug Davidson), fourteen grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. Her children Patrick Jay Burns and Paula Jean Burns Fortman preceded her in death. She is greatly loved and will be missed.

Dear Kathy and George and to your families,
We are so deeply sorry to hear of the loss of your Beautiful Mom. Our most heartfelt sympathies to you all and we hope you will let us know if there is anything we can do for you. GOD Bless and be with you all with HIS Love and Comfort and Peace. I feel like we have always been family knowing your family for the past 55 years+ or so. We were all little kids together.
