We met the Fletcher family when I was a child in west side neighborhood, then much older found Darrell was a member of Riverlawn Christian Church where he loved to serve others felt he was serving God. I also remember when KFDI had a garage sale on the property Darrell was there trying to sell his albums, he was true fan of Elvis Presley also loved country music. He had a big heart for everyone we will miss Darrell. We know he is with Jesus and his brothers. My prayers to the family.

So sorry to hear of Darrells passing. My mom and Darrell became good friends at Sandpiper from his first day there to his last. He was a true blessing for my mom to have at Sandpiper he encouraged her every day to go to bingo, church or just sit outside with him! He kept a close eye on her and would call me everyday just about to give me a report on "cherry pie" (Sherry is my moms name) He was such a sweet, kind and loving guy! From our family to yours we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers! Rest in peace "Fletcher". Logan and Gavin say "you can't see me" ( like John Sena) and they will truly miss you.

Darrell will always be known to many of us as the best friend KFDI ever had. I enjoyed his calls even when the timing might not be right. He new all about us, better than we knew ourselves. Never a cross word toward anyone. What a blessing he was!

I met Fletch in 1985 timeframe when he was working at Cessna, I then ran into him several years later at Boeing/Spirit Aerosystems. He was a fun guy to work with, really enjoyed his stories and his humor. He will be missed by many of us out here at Spirit. Sorry for your loss.

As one of dozens of KFDI folks who received calls from Darrell, I can say we had no better listener and friend. Darrell is truly a dear, kind soul. God bless and God speed.
