Milagros Onelia Santos, 84, formerly of Newark, New Jersey and more recently of Middlebrook, VA, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Born September 10, 1931 in Caibarien, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Arsenio Rodriguez and wife, Maria Ugarriza.
Milagros was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Newark, NJ. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed cooking and sewing for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Ricardo Santos.
Survivors include her loving children, Rosa Elena Falino and husband, Mike of Florida, Jorge Luis Santos and wife, Maria Elena of Florida, and Ricardo Santos and wife, Ann of Middlebook, VA; grandchildren, Kathy White and husband, Matthew and Michelle De Santos and husband, Kimo; great grandchildren, Mila White, Kaeden De Santos and Nicoló De Santos.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 118 N. New Street, Staunton, VA with the Rev. Joseph Wamala officiating.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Milagros's memory to August Health Foundation, c/o Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939.
