So sad to hear of our great uncle Buren put rejoicing that he's no longer in pain. Just to think of him in heaven with My Grandma Dessie is a great reward. We are a close family and I'm thankful that my sister Judy Ann got to help him through this journey of his older age. My heart is very sad for his wife and family for they will miss him everyday but one day there will be a great day of rejoicing for we will all be together. You all are on our prayers.

To My Family and Friends,
Words cannot describe our sense of loss just now. Mom once said to me, "If God brings you to it, God will get you through it." God gave us a gift that lasted 86 years and then took that gift to an eternal home. Dad waits for us there.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Buren's passing. He and my dad worked together at the Kopperston plant many years ago and I still remember him vividly. He was a fine man as were his brothers. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Aunt Gladys, Tommy, Sherry and the entire family,
I do not have to tell you that we have lost an anchor of our family with the passing of Uncle Buren. Aunt Gladys what a beautiful love the two of you had, and how beautiful you were together. My sweet Aunt, I pray that peace will wrap itself around you like a warm blanket.
Tommy and Sherry, It is never easy to say goodbye to our daddy. Oh, but the wonderful memories he has left for both of you, your family and his extended families. It is grand, even through the grief, to know he is no longer in pain and is reunited with so many that have gone on before him.
I will always remember him as a funny, witty uncle that delighted in the laughter of a child and in teaching children about the land and its creature. I love him and will miss him.
May God bless all of you during this most difficult time. May the peace that passes all understanding be upon you all.

Mrs. Lusk, Sherry, Tommy, and Family,
It deeply saddens me to hear of Mr. Lusk's passing, as I offer my Heartfelt Condolences and Deepest Sympathy to all of you. I feel so blessed and honored to have been able to spend some personal time around him, taking his property tour, his tool tour, his project tour, his bee tour, as it all has always and will always stay with me, not to mention how personal he made me feel each and every time I saw him. He is definitely one of only a few remaining pioneers, and offered so much to so many. My Respect, My Care, My Love, goes to him, and also to all of you. GOD BLESS Mr. Lusk!
