There will always be a special place in my heart for Dell, and I'll remember our good times with the Energy Systems group at Carbide. Though he was an "exacting" boss, he was always quick to express appreciation and esteem. He liked to have fun and I'll never forget his hearty laugh! He was the glue that kept our ESE group together after retirement, just as he was instrumental in many different groups. My sincere sympathy to the family, as well as to the many friends who mourn his loss and will always remember him with great fondness.

Joan and Family: I am very sad to lose a friend like Dell, my high school and college companion. Dell was always upbeat in life and his intelligence and spirit was like fresh air to many. May God bless him and the family and on behalf of our High School Class of '54, I can truly say many, many classmates are saddened to learn of Dell's passing. He is our 66th loss and will be greatly missed.
