Ina May (Nicholas) Schuster, age 90, of Buckley passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was born February 6, 1925 in Colfax Township, MI to Russell Gideon and Ester Irene (Soper) Nicholas.
Ina married the late Martin S. Schuster on August 25, 1941 in Meauwataka, MI. Together they raised five children.
Ina enjoyed baking, gardening, and farming, but she especially loved her trips to the U.P. with her sisters.
Ina will be greatly missed by her four children: Don (Cindy) Schuster of Tustin, Dallas (Sue) Schuster of Mesick, Anna (Jerry) Austin of Cadillac, and Jack Schuster of Mesick; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; two sisters: Donna Light of Bear Lake and Thelma Anderson of Cadillac.
Besides her parents, Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; daughter, Patricia Cockeram Beckelic; two brothers Alvin and Kenneth Nicholas, and three sisters: Reta Austin, Edna Hulett, and Betty Daily.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kingsley.
Memorial contributions in Ina's name may be directed to Munson Hospice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Kingsley.
