David Gregory Gleason, 62, of Martinsville, died on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Martinsville. He was born July 16, 1953 in Henry County to Donald Gleason, deceased, and Gladys Bass Arrington. Mr. Gleason had been a resident of Blue Ridge Village for several years prior to his death.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Judy Rose Gleason, of Martinsville, a daughter, Crystal Diane Gleason of Collinsville, two step-children, Terry Scott Wilkerson and Laura Ann Hill, both of Martinsville, three sisters, Sharon Rosenberger (Joseph) and Cynthia Montrief (Rudy), both of Martinsville and Kelly Ann Hankins (Bruce) of Ridgeway, and one brother, Timothy M. Gleason (Kitty) also of Martinsville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, Chad, Dominick and Olivia and three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at Community Funeral Services chapel in Ridgeway, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. William "Bill" Preskitt. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral.
Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery.
