A funeral service for Mrs. Sylvia Ann Daws Russell will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel of DeKalb. Brother James Ruffin will officiate with burial following in the Pinecrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. before the service.
Mrs. Russell, 79 of DeKalb, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Harry Hoyt Russell; daughter, Ruth Ann McDonald and husband Larry; grandson, Shane McDonald and wife Daniela; two great grandchildren; niece, Nancy Jane Hancock and husband David and sister in law Mary Jane Daws.
Mrs. Russell is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Ruth Daws and one brother, Wilmer Daws, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to DeKalb Baptist Church.
