Dad, I will always try to remember you with smiles and laughter, because I know you would not want me to cry for you. I know that you are whole, and your body is healed. You were always a quiet man, a man of few words, but when you did speak, we all heard you. There will always be a shining place in my heart for you. Your name sake misses you, but when I look at my own son, I'll remember you! I will see you one day again. I love you Dad.

Dad you were a gentle giant when I was young softly guiding me as I learned in you footsteps. As a teen you gave me respect by teaching me to listen and think and not react hastily. As an adult you taught me to speak softly and with purpose. I love you dad and will keep your memory alive forever. RIP

Grandpa Spahr was such a kind and gentle man. I'll always remember his smile. He was a quiet and soft-spoken man, but he would smile at you in a way that spoke volumes. His smile made you feel special and cared about. I will miss him very much. Much love to Grandma Spahr, Sandy, Maryann, Larry, and Kelly.

A kind hearted, humble, soft spoken man. Grandpa worked hard to support his family and was a wonderful example of a loving provider. I am honored to be a part of his family and I will miss him. Sending lots of love to Grandma, Larry, Sandy and Maryann. Rest easy Grandpa.
