I am only now learning of Mark's passing. He was my intermediate and high school best friend; we were very close. I am so sad. We always think we'll see our old friends again. My sincere thoughts are with Mark's entire family and friends. He was a warm, kind, and thoughtful teenager; I'm sure that carried him through life. Until I see you again....

I only knew Mark through my daughter, Terri Brinkley, but what I saw out of him when I was around him, he was a very nice man and was courteous and mannerly. He was always kind and considerate when I saw him. He suffered so much and I now he is at rest at last and may he rest in peace. Anna (Terri's Mom)

Mark, was one of the best men I'll ever know. He had things his way or no way. I loved Mark like a father, and I am so glad god ended his pain and suffering. He was as tuff as nails and proved it before he passed. But, he will always be in my heart and thoughts everyday. He has left his MARK on this world and everyone that knew him will remember just how great he was as a father, brother, son, and true friend he truly was. Rest in peace Marky... I love you...
