Dorothy Shockey Cutright, 67, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley.



Born on June 12, 1948 at Fayetteville, she was the daughter of the late Houston and Emma Westfall Shockey.



Dorothy was a 1966 graduate of Fayetteville High School. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.



Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Shockey, and husband, Wallace Cutright.



Left to cherish her memory include her sons, Wallace Cutright, Jr. and wife, Christi of Port Neches, TX and Greg Cutright of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Aurora Cutright and Victoria Cutright, both of Port Neches, TX; sister, Carolyn Buckland of Fayetteville; brother, Eddie Shockey of Oak Hill; and many nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Mike Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.



The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, January 18, 2016 at the funeral home.

I read Dorothy's obituary in the Register Herald. I wanted you to know I am thinking of you. I would like to have sent you a card. I retired the end of December. However, I believe you will remember me as:
