Dias, Beverly E. (Fountain), 91, of Oyster Point, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Born in Springfield, MA she was the oldest daughter of the late Wallace and Mildred (Jacques) Fountain.
Ms. Dias worked at Providence-Washington Insurance Co. and was their only female insurance underwriter. She later went into real estate where she helped train many Sales Associates who are still actively selling today. She enjoyed volunteering at Barrington Library, Volunteer Services for Animals and especially at the Warren Senior Center. Ms. Dias was a voracious reader, an expert at jigsaw puzzles and cherished her many adventures and time spent with granddaughter, Kim.
She is survived by her children, Linda C. Misco (Walter) of NH and FL, Roxanne M. Beal of Warren and Joseph A. Caputo (Linda) of Maine; grandchildren, Glenn and Kim Misco and Curry and Cory Caputo; 8 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lorraine Arsenault, Margaret Skutnik, Marilyn Lunt and Donna Kearney. She was the sister of the late Royal, Robert and Roderick Fountain and Beatrice Croteau, Gladys Devine and Dorothy Campbell.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 AM in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren, RI.
