Although there are so many wonderful memories I have of my grandmother, one that sticks out to me today is spending time with her in her beauty parlor as a little girl. She was one of the strongest women I know and I am so fortunate to be her granddaughter. Every child should have a grandmother like her. I Love you Nanny.

Speaking as her oldest grandchild, I can testify that she was always a very large part of life for me. Having lived with she and Henry for some years, both were a near constant presence over the course of my day-to-day. In younger years she saw that summers were spent at Northwood lake as well as Hampton beach. All for my benefit. She made sure that I was exposed to culture and the finer things. She was the most unselfish person I have ever known.

Very sorry to hear of Ann's passing. Sandy told me of it after seeing Sarah's Face Book Post. She was someone who was always nice to me and I know how close she was to her son, Hank, and our God Daughter/her granddaughter,Sarah. She never seemed to change in the 50 years since I met her. She will be missed by all who ever knew this kind and gentle person.
