RHONDA KAYE WHITE KINCAID

April 7, 1952 – March 12, 2016

Rhonda Kaye White Kincaid, (“Nonny”), 63, of Fayetteville, passed peacefully into eternal paradise, surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 7, 1952 in Montgomery, WV to Betty June White and the late and beloved Lawrence Charles White.

She was a real estate paralegal for 40+ years. She was a talented watercolor painter, an avid gardener and fisherman, and a cook extraordinaire.

Rhonda loved the ocean, playing bingo, enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a gourmet meal. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them, especially Thanksgiving dinner. She was a generous, loving, precious, beautiful soul that will be missed by many.

She is survived by her mother, Betty White of Fayetteville; her daughter, Jessica Colvard (Pat) and son, Zachary Hudson (Beth), all of Fayetteville; three grandchildren: Sydney, Olivia and Adam; brothers: Larry, Steve and Frank White, all of Fayetteville, John (Amy), William (Jennifer), and James White (Kim), of Huntersville, NC, Charlie White (Amy) of Fayetteville; sisters: Sherry Hawkins (Larry) of Scott Depot, Cindy White Kelly of Culloden, Beverly Stafford (Harry) of Rawlings, MD and Mary White Mulligan of Charlotte, NC; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends to cherish her memory.

“A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remember all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin until the day comes we’re together again.”

A private celebration of her life will be held by her family.

Psalm 119:50 “My comfort in my suffering is this. Your promise preserves my life.”

Though I did not know Rhonda, I've spent many hours on the river with her brother, Charlie. He always took great care of my dad and me while fishing. Charlie is a great and kind man. I can only imagine what a wonderful person his big sister Rhonda was and how she helped him become the man he is today. Heaven, no doubt, has another beautiful angel! Blessings and condolences to the White family.
