Beatrice G. Lambarria, 64, passed away on March 15, 2016 in Kaufman, Texas. She was born in Kemp, Texas to Arturo and Cresencia on July 1, 1951. In 1980 Beatrice found the love of her life, Alifonso Lambarria, and spent over 30 wonderful years together. “Bee” as most of her family and friends called her worked for 15 years as one of the head cooks at Moon’s in Kaufman, Texas. She loved to cook. Her family will always remember her amazing cooking and their favorite, her tamales. In her spare time Beatrice could be found antique shopping at flea markets and garage sales. Her family has fond memories of loading up in the car to go to Trader’s Village for a day of shopping, she was always looking at finding beautiful jewelry. They also enjoyed going to visit the virgin St. Juan an road trips to Mexico to visit her in-laws. Beatrice was an avid Bingo player, and loved listening to tejano music and tearing up the dance floor with her beloved husband. When Bee took a break from dancing she enjoyed watching her telenovelas and just spending time with her family. Bee was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church where she spent time worshiping her Lord, Beatrice loved the Lord and made sure that she said her rosary every night before bed. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Arthur Gonzales and John Gonzales, and one sister, Maria Luisa Gonzales. Those left to cherish Bee’s memories are her husband, her son, Juan Arturo Escobedo, brothers: Jessie Gonzales and wife Mary, Freddy Gonzales, and Guillermo Gonzales, sisters, Yolanda Gonzales and Mary Lou Duran and husband Demetrio, her mother in law, Maria San Pablo, her brother in law, Angel Lambarria and two sister in laws, Carmen Lambarria and Socorro Lambarria. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home in Kaufman, Texas on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 6 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass for Beatrice will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Kaufman, Texas.
