Cora Earlene "Jo" Wiles, age 91, of Bentonville, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, at her home. She was born in Hardesty, Okla., on December 31, 1924, to the late Earl "Buster" and Thressa (Poling) Jones.
Jo was a lifelong supporter of the Apostolic Faith Bible College, and was a faithful member of Trinity Apostolic Faith Church in Cave Springs.
Jo never faltered in her faith. She enjoyed seeing her family grow to five generations, and loved each and every one of her family – and even those who were not family. She was a model of love – for God, her church, and for all whose life she touched. Her unforgettable smile was an inspiration to many and will be missed.
Survivors include her children, Katy Osborn and husband Jim of Yukon, Okla., Delvin Wiles and wife Rita of Bedford, Tex.; grandchildren, Juanita & Phil Simpson of Wichita, Kan., Darren & Rhea Clark of Newtonia, Mo., Jayson & Miranda Wiles of Hurst, Tex., Travis Wiles of Dallas, Tex., Denise & Guy Dickerson of Guymon, Okla.; 11 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Doyle Wiles; her first husband, Leonard Turner; daughters, Marva Jo Gibbs and Marcena Clark; two granddaughters, one great grandson; three brothers, and three sisters.
Visitation will be 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday in the Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Alvin Buschman. Burial will follow in Bentonville Cemetery.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to the Apostolic Faith Bible College, Box 110, Baxter Springs, KS 66713.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville. Online condolences may be made at www.callisonlough.com.
