I was really saddened when I learned of your mother's passing. I so enjoyed talking to her at Fayette Continuous Care while our mother was a resident there. Was looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday with her. She was a joy to visit with and had such a sweet, positive attitude.

Dear Becky, Tommy and Johnny, I was so saddened to hear that your sweet mother passed away. I know how excited she was planning her 100th birthday party. May you find comfort in knowing she will have an even bigger celebration in her Heavenly Home where she will be joined by so many loved ones. I will forever miss our visits and talks. I hope you find peace in knowing how much she loved her three children.

I'm so sorry to hear the loss of your mother. She lived next door to my Aunt Katie's house on Frank Street. I don't know if you remember but I delivered the morning paper to your house for a few years while going to high school. She was such a sweet and kind lady who always had a smile and a kind word for me when I collected for the paper or when I saw her in the yard while visiting my aunt. Her home baked cookies were always such a treat for me during the Christmas season as a token of her appreciation for delivering the morning paper. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I am so sorry for the family's loss. Over the years I felt I grew closer to my Aunt Dorcas and cherished the visits I had with her. She was always one to make you feel not only welcome but special, and always asked about all my children. She was truly a lovely and loving lady. I'm so thankful my kids were blessed to meet her and have so many fond memories at the Skidmore farm.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dorcas was one sweet lady and we had some good laughs and conversations. We were car pool buddies when we both worked at the hospital. I was just going down memory lane the other day talking about riding with Dorcas and Mrs. Jackson. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers. Cheryl Hobbs
