Margaret Mills of Flat Lick, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Pineville Community Hospital in Pineville, Kentucky being 77 years, 8 months and 21 days of age. She was born on September 30, 1938 in Knox County, Kentucky to the late Billy Gray and the late Gussie Johnson Gray. On August 26, 1955 she married the love of her life Cleveland Mills and to this union two sons were born. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Charles Mills, a brother Denver Gray, and her sister Carol Sue Bright. Margaret believed in the holiness faith and was a member of Hinkle Branch Holiness Church.

Margaret leave behind to mourn her passing her loving husband of 60 years Cleveland Mills; one son Curtis Mills and fiancé Donna Harris of London, Kentucky; Daughter-in-law: Reda Morgan; three brothers: Paul Gray of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bill Gray, Jr. of Barbourville, Kentucky, Mack Gray and wife Marsha of South Carolina; three sisters: Lydie Vanover and husband Ernest of Corbin, Kentucky, Doris Smith and husband L.C of Bimble, Kentucky, Bernice Bright and husband Rev. Charles of Gray, Kentucky; brother in law Earl Bright of Barbourville, Kentucky, sister-in-law Escilene Gray of Flat Lick, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Joey Mills and wife Stacy of Lexington, Kentucky, Tabitha Smith and husband Tony of Girdler, Kentucky, Cody Mills and wife Jenna of Barbourville, Kentucky, Dylan Mills and wife Caitlin of Barbourville, Kentucky and Whitney Finley and husband Ryan of Woodstock, Georgia; ten great grandchildren: Tyler Mills, Jayden McCreary, Alli Mills, Charli Beth Mills, Hayden Finley, Paisley Finley, Kinsley Finley, Matthew Broughton, Riley Smith and Claire Hedrick and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A funeral service for Margaret Mills will be conducted on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 2:00PM in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Bright and Calvin Smith officiating. Special music will be offered by Barb Bingham. She will be laid to rest in the Hinkle Branch Cemetery in the Hinkle Branch community with family members serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 9:00PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Hampton Funeral Home.
