KNOX, Betty Jean 84 of Union, passed away peacefully Friday, June 24, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton with her family at her side. Betty leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 63 ½ years, Edgar Knox; daughter and son-in-law Sharon J. and Michael Graft, son and daughter-in-law David and Tracy Knox. Also surviving are two granddaughters Trinity Carnicom, Alyssa and her husband Michel Gil, grandson Connor Knox; three great-grandchildren Henry Campbell, Andrew and Marissa Gil; two brothers Alvin and Jerry Faulkner, sister, Mary Maynard. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Nannie (nee Slemp) Faulkner and brother, Floyd Faulkner Jr. Betty enjoyed gardening and especially her flower garden. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road. A Celebration of Betty's life will be Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Thomas of Union Baptist Church presiding. Burial will follow in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville. Betty's family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Dayton, especially Sandy.
