Bonnie Mae Phillips, 83, of Pasadena, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
Visitation will be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77502 on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 5:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Pasadena Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, July 6 at 10:00am with Pastor Ronnie Jordan officiating. Burial/Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
Bonnie was born in Gause, Texas to Elmer and Verna Mae Ryan on January 8, 1933. She went to high school at Pasadena High School and graduated in 1951. She worked as a customer service department manager for Houston Lighting and Power with a long and successful career of 36 years. Bonnie loved to have fun and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Verna Mae.
Bonnie is survived by her son Stephen Phillips and his wife Vickie; daughter Tania Phillips; brother Horace Ryan; grandchildren Leslie Hanhart, Chad Phillips, Chase Phillips, Shawnna Boyd and Tania Wright; and great grandchildren Andrew Hanhart and Brody Boyd.

I am so sorry that Bonnie lost her hard fight with cancer. She was a person full of life with a bright happy smile and friendly personality. She enjoyed our class lunches and gatherings in classmates' homes. We were blessed that in our retirement years that we were able to reconnect and get to know each other again. Thanks for being a good friend Bonnie..... we love you
