Erwin Eugene Staats passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the age of 75. He was born August 26, 1940 in Buffalo, Oklahoma to Elvesta & Harold Staats.
Erwin was a veteran of the US Army and was a Maintenance Supervisor at General Dynamics. His hobbies included races, hunting, camping, and enjoying time with his family.
Erwin is preceded in death by his Parents, Elvesta Staats & Rev. Harold Staats. He is survived by his Wife, Shirley Staats; Daughter, Sharon Cober & Husband, Greg Cober; Son, Jimmy Staats & Wife, Jinnie Staats; Daughter, Carol Ann DeLaRosa & Husband, Berto DeLaRosa; Son, Tony Staats & Wife, Crystal Staats; Grandchildren, Rhyn, Shawna, Laurie, Joey, Casey, Cassidy, Cody, Kevin, Kristin, Kaylon, Cole, Jordan, Haylee, 12 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Harold Staats & Wife, Judy Staats; & numerous Neices & Nephews.
Services for Erwin Eugene Staats will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Terrell, Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8pm at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell, Texas.
