Edward E. Lind, 85 of Sea Breeze Lane, Bristol passed away June 28, 2016. He was the husband of 64 years to Claire (Durand) Lind and son of the late Eric and Mabel (Moehle) Lind.
Edward was President and Chief Operating Officer for the former Eastland Bank. He was also a Marine Veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed golfing, reading and growing tomatoes.
He was the father of Gary Lind and his wife Lois and Meg DeSilva and her husband Bob; grandfather of 3; great grandfather of 1 and brother of Virginia Lind and the late William and Robert Lind and Barbara Lamarre.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am in the WILBUR-ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street, Warren followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to Hematology & Oncology Assoc., 1220 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
