Josephine Aranaydo Sarno, 74, passed awy on July 4, 2016 in Las Vegas, where her family has resided since 1984. Born May 14, 1942 in Waipahu, Hawaii, to Narciso and Carmen Wabinga Aranaydo. She attended school in Waipahu and graduated from Waipahu Hugh School, class of 1960. She retired from the food processing and food service industry in July of 2004, where she went from meat wrapper to deli department manager. She is survived by her husband, Richard Sarno; sons Brian Thomas Sarno and Darren Jerome Sarno; grandsons Donovan Hanale Sarno and Keland Alaka'i Sarno; and daughter-in-law Cheri Harris Sarno. Other surviving family members include brothers Philemon (Sue) Aranaydo; Harry (late Dottie) Aranaydo; Gerald (Linds) Aranaydo Sr.; Edward (Geri) Aranaydo; Joseph (April) Aranaydo; sisters, Doris (Gilbert Sr.) Yrojo; Marilyn (Frank) Wabinga Aranaydo Salgado; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased are brothers Wilbert-Lisa (Michan) Aranaydo; Leslie (Carmen) Aranaydo; Reynold-Lucy Aranaydo and sister, Lorraine Aranaydo. There are 2 events scheduled: Friday July 22 at 1PM, a Catholic service at St. Fracis De Sales Church (1111 N. Michael Way). On Saturday July 23 at 11AM, a celebration of life service at Palm Mortuary. Family and friends are welcome to attend both events.

We are truly sorry to hear of Josephine's illness and losing her, we do know that her whole life was to always be there for her son's and grandson's, daughter in-law, friends and family. She will be missed by so many. Everyone learned different things from Indai because of her many Talents, especially cooking. We love you all and will be thinking of you....from the Cisneros Family.
