Wow..I am literally at a loss for words and do not know what to say, as a child, Uncle rick was always a favorite. He always called me Sport. Many of the family say I look like him. I don't have many memories of him except from my childhood. He was a great man, didn't take no junk from anyone. We will miss you. So hate I wasn't able to be as close to you as others. Love you and will miss you.

To Rick's family....please accept my heart felt condolences at the unexpected passing of a special man. Rick and I grew up together on Bailey Avenue in Beckley, WVa. Needless to say it was a great shock to hear that Rick had died. We thought we'd always be young, even after coming back to the world after seeing many horrible things in a war long forgotten by most. It's hard to picture little Ricky no longer around. My thoughts and prayers are with those left to cherish his memory.
