PHILLIP GARRISON, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Hospital.
Phil was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Grant County, Indiana but resided in Fort Wayne most of his life. He was a warehouse worker before retiring and an active participant in programs provided by Easter Seals-Arc. He was also a long standing member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a born comedian, always doing things to make people laugh and was perpetually positive, with his favorite statement being, "I'm okay". "We will all miss him very much".
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1101 S. Lafayette St., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802, with calling one hour prior. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home. www.klaehnfahlmelton.com
