Mary Ellen Wyman Barney 79, of Temple, Texas passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 in Temple, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, August 12, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Bellwood Cemetery in Temple.
Mary was born on March 16, 1937 to John W. Wyman and Vera Diabo in Springfield, Vermont. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, bingo, cake making and traveling across the Atlantic Ocean on the Queen Mary.
Mary is preceded in death by her first husband Hugh Barney and second husband Frank Moore, parents, John Wyman and Vera Diabo, brother, Edward Churchill and son James Barney.
She is survived by her sons John W. Barney and wife Kathy, Jay E. Barney and wife Niki, daughter, Joy Crawford, brothers, Robert Wyman, John Jack Robertson, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to feed the homeless.

It was a very special service...Loved the song selection, the message from the pastors, and the special memories shared by the sons and daughter.. Your Mom was a special lady that I am happy to have had a chance to know. I am sorry for your loss. Praying for God to comfort you in the days ahead.
