Our beloved father, Robert Sylvester Clark, 93, passed away of natural causes at home on August 29, 2016 DeWitt MI. Robert was born in Culver, Indiana January 2, 1923 to James Sylvester and Fannie Mae (Warren) Clark. He was one of 9 siblings. Robert lived in Warsaw, Indiana until the age of 19 when he met the love of his life, Elouise Ruth (McNeely) Clark, deceased. Married April 23, 1942 Lansing, MI, for almost 70 years. He was drafted into the Army on February 12, 1943 served in WWII as an Ambulance driver in the 579th Motor Company. He drove an 18 wheeler for most of his life, received an award for driving 100,000 miles without an accident. On Feb. 24, 2008 he was saved.
He will be dearly missed by his Daughters, Sandra Robinson, deceased, (Larry) Robinson, Terresa Acou, and Debra (Brian) Zeeb; grandchildren Rod Martin, Randy and Ryan Easterbrook, Scott (Kathy) Zeeb, Troy (Devon) Acou, step-grandchildren Nikki Fowler, Joe Zeeb, Michelle and Kasey Robinson. Great grandchildren Ashley Vaughn, Jessica Martin, Maya Heiner-Zeeb, Addie Acou, Trent, Brad, and Tyler Easterbrook, great-great grandchildren Aden Easterbrook, Step-grandchildren Julia, and Ian Fowler, Shawn, Cameron, and Nickolas Robinson, and his only surviving sibling Alden Clark.
Funeral Service will be held Fri. Sept. 2, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St. DeWitt, MI. Viewing at 11:00 AM, Funeral at 1:00 PM. Condolences www.grdewitt.com

Uncle Bob has always been one of the Sweetest people I have been Blessed to know. Although it's been years I can still see him with his pipe and that Beautiful Smile he seemed to share with everyone!
