Richard Joseph McLee, Sr. age 87, of Front Royal, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Evergreen Health and Rehab in Winchester.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Morris Baptist Church in Hume with Reverend Donald Reid presiding. Burial will follow in the Mount Morris Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home and from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
Mr. McLee was born on March 15, 1929 in Uniontown, PA a son of the late Joseph Butler and Mabel Ford McLee. He was a concrete finisher. He was a member of the Mount Paren Baptist Church and the VFW.
Mr. McLee is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen Ford McLee; his son, Richard Joseph McLee, Jr. of Front Royal; his daughters, Michelle "Toni" Brooks, and Brenda McLee both of Front Royal, and Awilda Euill (John) of Cheverly, MD; his brother, Charles Dale McLee of Uniontown, PA; his sister, Lavada McLee of Uniontown, PA; his four grandchildren; and his four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McLee was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
