To Judy and family. My husband and I was in Jaycee's with you and Tony many years ago. I heard of Tony's death through Cathy Herzog and I am so sorry to hear that he is gone. I want you all to know that we had many fond memories of all of the many experiences and projects that we were all involved in and we are so blessed to have known Tony and you, Judy. It has probably been 30 years or more since we last saw Tony, but, have never forgotten his kindness and all of the fun we had as Jaycees and Jaycettes.
We were most certainly the blessed ones.

My condolence to the Gonzalez family. Tony was a great friend when we worked at the News together, he would check up on me now and again to see how I was doing even after he left. He was constantly smiling and expressing joy when I visited with him. My life was made that much richer by knowing him. Tony will be missed by all that knew him.

Condolences to Judy, Deacon Tony Gonzalez, Ruth and family. Lil Tony, was the definition of sociable (like his Mommy) and celebrated life to the fullest! Tony had a vivid memory about his childhood and his Sunday visit at my parents' home with his parents and siblings. Tony was always sure to tell me a new story about my own youth (even remembering the day I was born); and, he was sure to wait for me after mass (with Judy) to say hello and attempt to walk out together.
Lil Tony was kindso kind; and, always had a litany of open-ended questions for methough, always ending our visits with an old memory of the past. Lil Tony was quite the Historian of my childhood home, trees that he climbed at my parents' home and my childhood-life too (sure his parents had a lot to do with recollection). Lil Tony would always make sure that I knew that it would be a good idea to go by and see Mama (Ruth), as she did remember me.
Lil Tony brought a smile to almost everyone, he will be missed.
