Gloria Ann Heath, 82 of Englewood, Florida, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Englewood Health & Rehab Center.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29 at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Gloria was born on January 20, 1934 in Davenport, a daughter of Ralph and Elsie (Ahrens) Bartscher. She married Paul E. Heath, Jr. on October 16, 1957 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2015.
Gloria was a homemaker for much of her life, but also worked for Davenport Bank & Trust for 12 years. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, traveling, bicycling, tennis, badminton, watching NASCAR, and being with her family. Before moving to Florida, she had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport.
Survivors include her daughters, Dianna (Terry) Kitchen, Moline, and Sherry Heath, East Moline; grandchildren, Heather Kitchen and Todd Kitchen, both of Moline; great-grandchildren, Renee Shipp and Preston Fulton; sisters, Marion Drieier, Moline, and Betty Stinson, Louisville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, her parents, and brothers, Roland and Don Bartscher preceded Mrs. Heath in death.
