Eugene Edward Springer, 94, of Belton, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Holland Cemetery in Holland, Texas.

Mr. Springer was born on May 7, 1922 in Bartlett, Texas to Euel and Myrtle Springer. He worked for Griggs Equipment Company for 34 years. He married Frances Springer on March 8, 1941, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sons, Wilson G. Springer and his wife Madeline of Temple, Texas, David A. Springer and his wife Charline of Florence, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
