Mildred “Millie” Marie Griswold,86, of Fruitland passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born November 19, 1929 in Bridgeport, CT she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Loretta Tesch. Millie worked as the office manager for Dr. Donald A. Pirie for over 30 years until her retirement in 1994 and later worked part-time at Healthport for 15 years. Following retirement Millie traveled extensively and even knocked down part of the Berlin Wall in Germany. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Junior Board at PRMC. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, had a great love of all sports, and especially enjoyed watching Kelsey’s soccer games. She was a devoted Redskins Fans an avid reader. She is survived by her daughter, Kim G. Beach and her husband Donald; granddaughter, Kelsey Beach; and many close friends who were part of the family. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2pm at Shad Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Millie to PRMC Junior Board, 100 E Carroll St., Salisbury, MD 21801 or American Heart Association, P.O.
