Bobbie Jane Smith, 83, of Texarkana, AR passed away October 2, 2016 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Smith was born August 10, 1933 in Fouke, AR. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Fouke, AR.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Gilmer; and her parents, Millard and Melvin Lynn.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sheryle Smith of Wake Village, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Michael Henson of Fouke, AR, Sheila and Jimmy Dale McGowan of Fouke, AR and Nicki and David Oliver of Genoa, AR; brothers and sister-in-law, Dean Lynn of Texarkana, AR and Kelly and Tina Lynn of Seattle, WA; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
Service will be 3 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2016 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane with Deryl Jones officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Eric McGowan, Fouke,Arkansas
