Raymond Boone Washington, 77 of Cross Lanes, passed away October, 12, 2016. He was predeceased by his wife Clara Lou Washington; son Harry Vaughan; sister Audrey Francisco and his parents Daniel and Dorothy. Surviving are his children; Connie Thomas; Kenneth Dodd; Pamela Dodd; Vickie Legg; Sandy “Jeff” Thaxton; Raymond “Bub” Washington Jr.; Steven Washington and nine Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren also brothers James; Johnny; Eddie and sister Margaret. Raymond loved horses and tractors and was the most giving person you could ever have met. He was a member of the Church of The Nazarene in Cross Lanes. The family gives a special thanks to Donna. Services will be on Friday at 2:00pm at the Church of the Nazarene in Cross Lanes with visitation from noon until service time. Interment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
