Daisy Jane Harshbarger 1932-2016
Jane passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 18th.
Predeceased by her husband Richard Harshbarger, brother Stanley Knecht and sister Alice Splain.
Born in Sayre Pennsylvania, Jane moved to Rochester and worked as a dedicated nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital for over 40 years. In retirement she served as a nurse at the Jewish Nursing Home as well.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Christopher) Maggio, Grandchildren Jessie Gian-Patrick and Luciano Maggio and her loving sisters Georgia Porcelli and Betty Lee Lantz.
At her request, there will be no calling hours or service.
Those who wish may donate to the Hospice Service at St. Johns Home, Rochester, NY. in Jane's memory.
