Alan passed away Saturday, October 22, surrounded by his family, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Christine Middleton of Montville,his son's Jammie Middleton and Gary Middleton of Middletown and Joshua Middleton of Waterford, his granddaughter's Isabella and Violet of Concord,NH, Molly and Bridget of Middletown, his brother David Middleton of Montville, and his mother June Middleton of Waterford.Alan was a loving and caring man and will be missed by many. Mr. Middleton was employed by General Dynamics/Electric Boat for 39 ½ years. Visitation will be Saturday Oct. 29, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00p.m. at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen Rte 32 Uncasville. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday Oct. 29, 2016 , 12 noon at the funeral home. Please visit www.montvillefuneralhome.com to leave an online tribute or condolence.
