On October 29, 2016 Dorothy Theresa Hissey (nee Lane) died at her beach home in Chincoteague Virginia. Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joseph M. Hissey, and grandson James Hissey. Survived by her five children Cathy and John Geiman, JoAnne Hissey and John Pozzi, Terri and Earl Jester, Michael Hissey and Kelly Hoffman, and Colleen Castro. Six Grandchildren and one great-grandson. Half sister Patricia Lieberman.
Family will receive friends at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Friday at 11:30am. Interment Lorraine Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Intrepid Hospice, 20387 Warrior Dr., Olney, VA 23418, c/o: Pat Richardson, or Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.

I am very sorry about the loss of Ms Dorothy. For most of my life her and Mr Joe were like family to me and always will be. Actually the whole family has always treated me as family. Their memory will always be in my heart
