Dearest Olof, Estelle and Robert,

The photo of a smiling Mona depicts her better than any words can. And this is how we will remember her, always with a smile, radiant and vibrant. My friend from teenage years in Malmo, Sweden, was the most upbeat and positive person I have ever known. No matter what hurdles came her way, she was determined to overcome them. A go getter, a fighter, a most generous and warm woman who loved her family with all her heart. Our adult children Vanessa and Martin adored her. Her passing saddened our family profoundly and we will miss her so very much. We all have wonderful memories of many times together now to be cherished for all future. Our deepest condolences go to all of the Martensson family.

Dear Olof, Robert & Estelle'
How do we measure a person's life? Is it the great Family they raise, nurture and guide? Is it the success they have in their profession? Is it a long and loving partnership with their spouse? Is it their generosity to their neighbors & community? Is it their strength to face adversity and never yield?

By any and all of these measures Mona was a giant, a remarkable life force. I and my family consider ourselves blessed to have known her. She lives on in the memories of all those she touched.
