Margaret Lopez
Margaret Lopez, 78, of Plano, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, in the Ted Dickey Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Margaret was born on Feb. 5, 1938, in Sinton, Texas to Jose and Audencia Lopez.
Margaret was a dedicated daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and nurse. She received her LVN’s accreditation and served the citizens of Plano for 33 years alongside Leo Fitzgerald, M.D. at Plano Medical Center. She was a parishioner at Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Margaret was also a very dedicated sports fan with basketball and football being her 2 favorites.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Soila Lopez, Susana Lopez and Jose P. Lopez.
Survivors include her son, Phillip Vargas and wife, Jennifer; grandson, Victor Vargas; granddaughter, Natalie Vargas; sister, Manuela Lopez; brothers, Daniel Lopez and Raul Lopez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Margaret Langston and family
I was the 'other Margaret' at Plano Medical Associates for the last 20 of Margaret's 33 years there. She knew everyone who came to the office and did her best to take care of their needs. She will be missed by more folks than she could count. We are praying for comfort for your family.
