Donna Bruce Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 30, 2016.

Donna J. Bruce

Donna Jean Bruce, age 57, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, November 30 at her ARC residence in Glen Burnie, after a 15 month series of illnesses. Donna was born in Annapolis, MD on February 15, 1959 to Marlene Asher Patmore and Francis M. Bruce. She attended Opportunities Builders Inc. (OBI) in Millersville, MD.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis M. Bruce and her maternal grandparents, Grace E. Seery and Francis P. Asher.

Donna's joys in her life were enjoying a wonderful meal, traveling around in her wheelchair, excursions in the car, and being with her family and caretakers. Her infectious laugh and playful spirit brought happiness to all those around her.

The family would like to especially thank Donna's devoted ARC of Central Chesapeake family, especially Mrs. Tameika Young, who provided daily love, comfort and laughter to Donna.

She is survived by her mother, Marlene Asher Patmore and her step-father John E. C. Patmore, two brothers, James D. Bruce (Jennifer), and David W. Bruce (Cory), and two sisters, Laurie Bruce Wachs (J. Michael) and Kathy Jones (Thomas), and 9 nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 109 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401 on Saturday December 3, 2016 at 9 AM followed immediately by burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
