Brian New Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 30, 2016.

Brian Ceseral New, aka Boomer, 43, of Brazoria TX passed away on Tuesday November 29, 2016 with his family at his side. Brian was born on December 8, 1972 to loving parents Larry Ceseral New and Nellie Jean Irwin, in Freeport TX.
Boomer was a great man and better friend. He loved to make people laugh and was entertaining. Boomer was a great musician, playing the saxophone, piano and other instruments. He was drum major at Brazosport High School, and volunteered for many years with the schools and other musical organizations in the area. He proudly marched 1 year with the Cadets of Bergen County Drum Corps from Hackensack NJ.
Boomer was endlessly giving of himself, both in terms of his means and energy to help those around him. He was an incredible son and brother and an amazing uncle, even to those with whom he had no biological relationship.
Above all else, Boomer loved to make people laugh and feel special. He could light up a room with his contagious smile. He had a great sense of humor, was warm, compassionate, talented, gifted, funny, and extremely intelligent. He will be incredibly missed. The world is darker without his light in it.

Someone once said that a person's life is like a book. It's not how many pages the book has, it's the quality of life on those pages. Brian had a wonderful, fulfilling life. He was truly a gift from God. Now God has his sweet angel with Him again.

Larry, Nellie and family, I pray God will give you comfort. I know how heart broken you all are now with the loss of Brian. We seem to think we will go before our children and yet sometimes God has His plan that we do not understand. May you find peace knowing Brian is seated at the foot of the King. No more worries, no more pain. Love you all, God bless you all.

Oh, Boomer. The world is a little darker today as I learn your smile no longer lights it. Your friendship lifted me on my happiest days and picked me up on my darkest. My sympathies to anyone that knew you as their hearts are surely broken. Rest in heavenly peace.
