Charley Fred "Chock" Boland died peacefully on November 29, 2016, in Odessa, Texas at the age of 79. Charley was born on September 30, 1937 in Throckmorton, Texas, to Fred and Opal (Carroll) Boland. He graduated from Throckmorton High School in 1957. He married Patsy Dunaway in 1981. He worked in the Oil Industry for over 40 years, and was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by two sons, Billy Boland and wife Shawna of Blanchard, Oklahoma; Jimmy Charles Boland and wife Julie of Denton, Texas. Step- Son Tommy and Jim Killion, and Step-Daughter Vicki Raschke. Five Brothers; Kennith Boland and wife Peggy of Bryson, Texas, Corky Boland and wife Pat of Abilene, Texas, Johnny Boland of Fritch, Texas, Tony Boland of Lake Arrowhead, Texas, Denny Boland and wife Kim of Iowa Park, Texas. Nine grandchildren; Jonathan Boland, Kelcey Boland, Jana Boland, Jaci Boland and Jessica Boland of Denton, Texas, Austin Boland of Lubbock, Texas, Hayley Dickson and husband Jeff, Kelli Hankins, Maria Killion, and Christopher Raschke all of Odessa, Texas. Four great grandchildren; Kayley Raschke, Jonathon and Nathaniel Hankins of Odessa, and Tucker Boland of Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers; Douglas Boland and Gary Boland. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday December 2, 2016 2:00 p.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with Jimmy Brazwell Officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Charley's life. Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Odessa, TX.
