About 15 years ago, several of us who worked at Nelson's Market in the 60's began meeting for lunch once a week. We always had an enjoyable time and looked forward to the next week.
We are sorry we did not learn of Vaughn's passing in time to attend his memorial service. We will miss his company and many stories of his past. Please accept our sincere condolences.
Rest in peace dear friend.

Vaughn Lamb was one of the kindest people i had the pleasure of knowing. He was good and great landlord anything you needed done he went out of his way to get it done. He was a quite and very knowledgeable man. He loved all of his daughter s. with all of his heart and showed it often. He took a liking to my daughter Dee Dee and could always make her laugh or smile. I will always have fond memories of him and he will be miss greatly. Rest in peace Mr. Vaughn Lamb

Uncle Vaughn was very loving and caring person.
He lived life to the fullest every day.
He never met a stranger, always spoke to everyone. Had many friends and loved his Lyons Club. He reminded me of my grandpa so much.
He touched the heart of many people in his life.
We always have a lot of fun when he vistited us in Iowa. Loved the car shows here with the guys.
Now he has joined his wife Neva and family in heaven and I'm sure they're all happy to see him.
I love you with all my heart Vaughn. R.I.P.
