Janet Lillian Marzejon, age 80, passed away on December 17th, 2016 in Utica, MI. Janet was born to Herbert and Gertrude Bardy on June 26th, 1936. She was a devoted and loving sister, mother, grandmother (Duda), great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Marzejon, her grandchildren, Candace Marzejon, Courtney Hall, Danielle Marzejon, Tabitha Garrison, Bradley Garrison, Bobby Garrison and Todd Garrison, her great-grandson, Logan, her sister, Joan Fenner, and her brothers, Ron Bardy and Don Bardy. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Marzejon, her two brothers, Thomas Bardy and Richard Bardy, her sister, Judy Case, her son, Thomas Marzejon, and her grandson, Charlie Marzejon.
She was known for her smile, laugh and her humor that would brighten any conversation she was a part of. She deeply cherished her relationships with her grandchildren, and was known to them as "Duda." She took much pride in her Polish and Native American heritage, of the Mohawk tribe, and was quite involved in the Native American community in her younger years.
She will be dearly missed by her siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchild, great-nieces and nephews, caretakers, and friends.
A very sincere thank you is extended to the loving and caring staff of Regency Manor of Utica.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7th, beginning at 1:00 pm with a 3:00 pm service at Resurrection Funeral Home in Clinton Township, MI.
All arrangements are made through Resurrection Funeral Home.
