Patricia "Trish" Jean Dinsmoor-Piscatelli 60, of Uncasville passed away peacefully Dec. 17, at William W Backus Hospital after a long-time illness. Trish is survived by her 4 children that she loved dearly, Troy Piscatelli and wife Joy of Daytona FL, Bryan Miner of Oakdale CT, Samie Miner of Lancaster PA, and Kristina Hall and husband Jason of Baltic CT. She also leaves 11 grandchildren who were dear to her, as well as the Gilman, Piscatelli families who will miss her greatly. Trish was a fun loving mother, an avid Red Sox fan. She enjoyed to cook, crochet, play bingo, and making everyone around her laugh. She was very proud of her Italian and Mohegan Indian Heritage and being a published author. Our family would like to say a special thank you to Trish's caregivers, and Backus Hospital staff for all the wonderful care over the years. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday Dec. 28, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at the Mohegan Burial Grounds at Ft. Shantok, Uncasville. In lieu of flowers, please make a doll donation to a children's facility of your choice. The Montville Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
