Carl Thomas Skelton, age 84, of McDonough, GA passed away December 23, 2016. Carl was born in Atlanta, GA the son of the late Nellie Mozele Cline Skelton and William Curtis Skelton. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Hardeman; brother, Lamar Skelton; and a grandson, Anthony Daniel. Carl served his country in the US Air Force for 21 years, and became an insurance agent with Life of Georgia after his retirement from the military. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, driving and sightseeing, and most of all doing for his grandchildren.
Survivors are his children; Carla Daniel of McDonough, Thomas Skelton of Barnesville and Frank Skelton of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Kaylin Daniel, Matthew Daniel, Eli Daniel, Morgan Ridgeway and Curtis Skelton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private memorial service will be held later by the family.
