Virginia Long, 76, of Abilene, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Graveside services will be 2:00p.m., Thursday January 5, 2017 in Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South.
Virginia is survived by her mother, Amanda Mountjoy of Southrange, MI; brother, James Mountjoy of Southrange MI; son, John Smith and wife, Pam Callaway of Abilene; daughter Sharron Renner and husband, David of Abilene; grandchildren, Erik Smith, Cory Smith, Emily Welch and husband, Ken, Jessica Robertson and husband, Chase, Lauren Renner-Cruz and husband, Felipe; Johnna Smith and her mother, Jackie Watkins; great-grandchildren, Destiny Smith, Lilyan Smith, Katie Welch, and Kimber Welch; sisters-in-law, Mary O'Connor of Abilene, and Clayrene and husband, James Small; brother-in-law, Herman Clay Long; nephews, Joe and Jeff O'Connor; and a niece, Connie Harris.
