What a dear woman of God Kathy was. I met her when she visited her mom. She was precious and soft-spoken. So glad I got to know her, if even for a short time. God be with her sweet family at this time of her passing. Will look forward to seeing her again in heaven one day.

Kathy was a shining example of just how great and loving our God truly is. The light of Jesus radiated from her like the sun. The joint ministry of Phil and Kathy helped change my life and many others. Surely we find no fault with our Lord for calling her home. She fought the good fight, She finished the race, She kept the faith. ( 2 Timothy 4:7) I praise Him for such a wonderful life !

Phil, Kevin, Dana and family,
I just looked at the pictures depicting Kathy's journey here on earth. What a wonderful tribute to her and all the things and people who were her world. Her graciousness to everyone will always be cherished by those of us who were privileged enough to be at Apex Baptist Church as she served alongside you, ministering to the members. We all pray God's comfort and that you will receive strength in His promise for us. The quote regarding cancer by Stuart Scott is one that I think is the most befitting of a life well lived and a disease well fought. "When you die, it doesn't mean you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live." Kathy will be remembered by how she lived, not how she died. Her legacy will live on through the lives of her children and grandchildren. God bless you all.
