Maria Smigielski passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Forney, TX at the age of 83. She was born to Eduard Springfield & Maria Weiland in Yugoslavia.
Mrs. Smigielski loved knitting, cooking, gardening & taking care of her family. She held NYC Boilers License and donated to the Fraternal Order of Police for 15 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eduard Springfield & Maria Weiland.
Mrs. Smigielski is survived by her husband, Mitchell Smigielski; children, Michael & April Smigielski, Michelle & Adam Palso, Macet & Susan Madzunovic, Roland & Lisa Madzunovic, Sylvia Madzunovic, & Ramona (Moe) Madzunovic & Kathy Newman; grandchildren, Brandi, Jennifer, Shane, Ashley, Dakota, Brianna, Alexis, Kayla, David, Kurt, Roland Jr. & his wife, Jennifer, Sadie, Emmalee & her husband, Ben, Lisa, Dan, Jonathan, Sara & her husband, Matt, & Kady Rose (Liebchen) Newman; great grandchildren, Harley, Braelyn, Luke, Callista, Brody, Julius, Natalee, Carlee, Mason, Connor, & Genevieve to cherish her memory.

Dear Mitch and family, so very sorry to hear of Maria's passing.Have many fond memories of family gatherings at Moe's and Kathy's, visiting with Maria and sharing stories, and enjoying her delicious potato salad.
